About us

It all started in 2013, when Arvis Owens was wrongly convicted in a military court martial. That marked the beginning of a long and tough journey towards justice.

Fighting the cruel battle on his own at first, he eventually discovered many others like him. The stories were different, but the injustices were all very similar. They found documents where the injustices were not only acknowledged by the very group responsible for justice, but there were letters written highlighting how convictions were achieved in cases where civilian prosecutors refused to pursue charges. How could a group get convictions when civilian prosecutors would not even pursue charges? In a country known for supporting the value of human rights, how could this happen? At least one leader explicitly stated that he committed an injustice in the handling of a trial because of fear. A whistle blower came forward and called out two leaders and their actions of injustice. Yet, the other trials that happened under their influence were not investigated regardless of the evidence. Would anyone even care?

In 2021, Arvis with the help of Clarence Anderson III was finally able to assemble 7 families that suffered injustice who wanted to speak out. There are countless other men too afraid to come forward because they just don’t believe that anyone will care and there are at least 300 – 400 other cases showing injustice in disturbing ways that need to be investigated.

We are asking for the opportunity to at least have the cases reviewed by a neutral, independent third-party. Today, a new step is taken towards justice. We are launching a campaign to bring awareness, with our heads up, to disrupt the system that allows innocent service members to be convicted to a life of injustice and suffering – not only for them, but also for their families, who are subjected as well. We only need justice.
